Colorful Cooking Sessions.

Why These Sessions Matter

Most home cooks already know how to cook — many have been doing it for years. What they often haven’t been shown is how a few simple refinements can make colorful eating feel effortless. When you understand gentle heat, how to treat vegetables so they stay alive on the plate, and how to stock your crisper drawer with intention, cooking becomes a joyful extension of the lifestyle you’re building, not another task to manage.

Colorful Cooking Sessions focus on confidence, ease, and the pleasure of plating food that nourishes you and the people you care about. It’s not about mastering recipes. It’s about learning techniques that make everyday cooking feel lighter, brighter, and more connected to the way you want to live.

If colorful eating feels natural, cooking it shouldn’t feel intimidating...

What Makes These Sessions Different

I teach in your kitchen because confidence grows where you cook every day. You already know your space — the tools, the stove, the rhythm. My role is to help you refine what you’re already doing with techniques that work across everything you cook: sautéing, blanching, shocking, seasoning, slicing, and understanding how color guides nourishment.

If you want recipes, I’ll provide them. But the real goal is to help you feel the food — noticing how vegetables respond to heat, how herbs hold their flavor, and how simple adjustments can elevate the meals you already make.

Session Rates

  • Colorful Cooking Sessions are $200–$225, depending on food requirements.

  • Group sessions are available and priced according to size and expectations (limit 3–4 people).

The “Ahhhh Moment”

There’s a moment in nearly every session when something shifts. When you look into the pan and see onions turning translucent instead of brown. When you sweep chopped parsley aside and realize the cutting board isn’t stained green, because the nutrients stayed in the herb, not on the board. When we taste the dish together and you understand seasoning as something you can adjust with confidence.

Most of the time, that moment comes with the realization that it doesn’t take more time — just proper technique. And suddenly, it all feels possible. That moment — the widening eyes, the soft smile, the quiet “ohhh…” — is why I teach. It’s the moment you realize you can do this.

What a Session Looks Like

Each session is 90 minutes and takes place in your home. I shop for the food, prep the ingredients, demonstrate the techniques, and then guide you as you take the stove. You’ll leave with two or three skills you can call your own — techniques that make colorful cooking feel natural, doable, and repeatable in your everyday life.

After the session, you’ll receive a written Debrief & Action Plan summarizing what we covered, the techniques you learned, and how to keep building momentum toward a more vibrant plate.
